Drifting Through

BFA 1997

This is a drawing/Collage on BFK paper glued to linen

66x96

I consider this a large drawing, there are about thirty smaller drawings that relate to this body of work that are not represented in the following images. In "Drifting Through" I used 15 sheets of BFK 180gm paper rabbit skin glued to linen. There are many layers of cut out paper glued to the surface to create dimension and texture. The drawing starts with cut out coffee stains Collaged to the surface. The red image in the left hand corner is a build up of several layers of stained cut paper.
