Anthony, African American juvenile from Dallas and Colorado. He has been in three weeks. He works on the outside at Outback Steakhouse. He doesn’t like to eat there because he is trying to get into shape to pay football at Blane Junior College in Brenhan. He plays Middle linebacker. Anthony would like to own his own business, as well as a music studio. He listens to all kinds of music. Anthony was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a gun in his case. He was in a foster home and shot a 23 year old named Marcus who lived there in a dispute over drugs. “I always had a gun. I was in a gang BHB—Bounty Hunting Bloods.” He joined a gang when he was 8. His step dad is locked up in Colorado for assault, his mom is on crack. He has six other siblings, 3 boys and 3 girls, all of them are in CPS. Anthony is the only one locked up. He doesn't get enough exercise with 12-hour shifts. He gets paid $8/hour and has $318 saved so far. "I have a couple of girlfriends. One calls me every five minutes. I have a white “challenge for health” bracelet that I have worn since I was 10."
